Let me know how to restore previous Outlook behavior. I also would not be able to change my POP3 settings without creating a new profile, which has too many potential problems. This means I would not be able to switch to IMAP even if I wanted to. I did several cold starts yesterday while trying to get Outlook to behave, before I found the AOL sign-in solution here.

Outlook 2016 utilizes “OST” files and without specialized software cannot be converted to PST files. When I deleted the original Outlook 2016 account all calendar and contact entries were also deleted which I could recover.
